Michael Dockman

Michael Dockman is a vice-president of M&T Bank, managing large-ticket leasing and leasing syndications. He has 20+ years as a banker, financial advisor and principal with a focus on the rail and marine industries. Michael was a Senior Vice President with Railroad Financial Corporation from 1996-2005 where he specialized in transaction structuring and capital markets activities. Prior to that he spent 10 years with the First National Bank of Maryland, a subsidiary of Allied Irish Banks Plc. He worked in the bank’s Transportation Group from 1986 to 1992, initially in the structured finance activities of the Maritime Division. He established the Rail Division in 1989 to develop a portfolio of rail equipment-related loans and leases. From 1992-1996, Michael was responsible for the Latin American relationships of both FNBM and AIB. He graduated with a BBA from Loyola College, an MS from The John Hopkins University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
