Michael O'Gara

Michael O’Gara is Senior Vice President of Compass Capital Corporation where he is responsible for the management of a growing operating railcar leasing business, while continuing to invest in transportation assets of all types. Mike has over 30 years experience in equipment leasing and financial services. Prior to joining Compass in March 2000, he was Executive Vice President at MacDonald and King ( 1993-1998) where he was responsible for managing advisory and arrangement services predominantly in transportation equipment transactions; Vice President Sales at ITEL Rail Corporation ( 1982-1990) where he managed the company’s $400M annual revenue operating lease business; and Marketing Representative IBM Corporation (1977-1982). Mike has completed over $4 billion in equipment financing. He holds a BS from the University of Illinois.
