David Sellers

David Sellers is Director – Car Management at CSX Transportation in the department of Service Design, where he has been since November 1999.  In this role, he is responsible for the strategic and operational decisions associated with some of CSX’s major railcar fleets.  This includes all facets of railcar ownership, maintenance and fleet distribution.  

He has 29 years of experience in various roles at CSX Transportation.  Prior to joining the Car Management Department at CSX, David held positions in Labor Relations, Field Transportation and Transportation Systems and Services.  

David graduated from Jacksonville University with a Masters in Business Administration in 1995 and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management in 1994

David resides in Jacksonville, FL with his wife and daughter.  He is active in the local chapter of the National Defense Transportation Association and the Ronald McDonald House.
