Larry Parsons

Larry R. Parsons has been Chairman and CEO of Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Company and its two subsidiaries since March 1, 1992. He previously worked as Vice President of Operations at Union Pacific; Executive Vice President of Operations of Southern Pacific Lines; held positions of Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Marketing at Kansas City Southern Railway Company; Vice President Operations at Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad; and began his railroad career at Union Pacific Railroad in the signal department in 1958.

Mr. Parsons is currently serving on the Board of the Association of American Railroads, American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association and Montreal Maine & Atlantic Railway.

Mr. Parsons graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Business in 1967 and is married with four grown children.
