Karen Folino
Karen Folino is a dynamic senior executive with more than twenty-five years of progressive management, leadership and marketing experience in Fortune 500, mid-size and start-up companies. She has broad experience across multiple industries including consumer products, food, transportation, logistics and technology.
Karen is currently the Assistant Vice President of Commercial Products and Services at Railinc, an information technology company that develops software applications and manages critical interline and logistical data supporting the North American Railroad System. Her career includes executive positions among the best known and well-managed companies, including A.C. Nielsen, CSX Transportation, ConAgra, Logistics.com, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, and Sara Lee Corp.
Karen's leadership expertise spans key phases of change management and includes functional expertise in process implementation, structural organization and technology implementation. Her strengths include customer service, sales management, supply chain management, change management, building organizational capability and leadership in Balance Scorecard strategy development. In her current position, Karen most recently lead the visioning, transformation and implementation of a strategic business model that created a complete product management and service delivery structure and established accountabilities for over 40 technology products.
Karen earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Lee University, a master's degree in business education from the University of Tennessee, advanced management degree from Harvard Business School and an MBA from the University of Dallas. She has completed the Darden Executive Development Program at the University of Virginia, and is certified by the American Society of Transportation and Logistics.
