David Humphrey

David Humphrey is a Senior Analyst with Railinc Corporation. In his ninth year with Railinc, David was recently selected to be a founding member of their Business Analytics group. Before returning to his family roots in the railroad industry, David was an Operations Research Analyst with Nortel Networks in Research Triangle Park, NC. David has been a visiting faculty member at the Naval Postgraduate School and the American University of Armenia, as well as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a SAS Certified Base Programmer. David's formal training is in industrial engineering and he holds a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University as well as M.S. and B.S. degrees from Purdue University.
