Wayne Winkle
Wayne is Senior Manager of International Asset Management for Kansas City Southern Lines. In this role, Wayne is responsible for managing an enterprise, rolling stock portfolio of assets, leased and owned, by KCSR/KCSM.
Wayne has 13 years experience in transportation related business, mostly focused on capacity planning and process improvement. Wayne’s career in transportation began within the airline industry as an Industrial Engineer with heavy focus on capacity planning using discrete event simulation. From the airlines, Wayne then spent the next 8 years in various consulting and management roles within the Less than Truck Load (Trucking) industry with focus on Asset Management, Process Improvement, and Project Management. Wayne joined KCS Lines in Jan. of 2009 to lead the International Asset Mgmt team. At KCS Lines, his current focus is concentrated on demand planning, inventory management, and contract management.
Wayne is an Industrial Engineering graduate (B.S.) from Kansas State University and an MBA graduate from Keller Graduate School of Business Management. Wayne is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
