Brian Modesitt

Brian joined Vestar Capital Partners in 2001 and is primarily focused on the firm’s investments in the financial services sector, having completed investments in Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd., Paris RE Holdings, Symetra Financial Corporation, Validus Holdings, Ltd. and Wilton Re Holdings Limited. Previously, he was employed by TCW/Crescent Mezzanine, L.L.C. and was a member of the Financial Institutions Group at Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc. Brian received an M.B.A. with Honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a B.A., Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Franklin and Marshall College. Brian was also a Fulbright Scholar at the National University of Singapore.
