As proud as I am of the hard work that REF’s staff and faculty put into our Conference......and the results that they achieve with our Agenda and presentations.......the real reward comes with what our attendees say about their experience. If you are considering attending REF 2010, but aren’t quite sure if our meeting is appropriate for you, contact me at tkruglinski@railfin.com, and I can put you directly in touch with one or more of the individuals identified below.

BNY Capital Funding LLC owns several thousand rail cars and hundreds of locomotives. We have been a regular attendee at Rail Equipment Finance. We are particularly interested in this conference because unlike so many other typical industry conferences that are high on networking and low on actionable information, this conference tells you everything you ever wanted to know about the current state of the financing market for rail assets. Few are the conferences where the room is full on a sunny afternoon at a golf resort. If you are interested in understanding the state of the rail industry and can only go to one conference this might be the one to attend.

The Carreden Group has been a regular REF participant the past few years. Although I am a frequent attendee or speaker at leasing, rail and energy conferences this was my first REF. Please know I was very impressed with how well the event was run, the quality of the speakers and the substance included in the presentations. It was refreshing to come away knowing I had picked up meaningful information. I also appreciate the opportunity to speak to the topic Carreden Group knows best. We have been very active with institutional leveraged lease equity investors in the rail sector and hopefully this experience complimented the conference.

This was my first year attending your conference and I thought it was outstanding. The information supplied by the presenters was very useful, the networking opportunities excellent, and facilities fantastic. I look forward to next year's meeting.

I have attended the Rail Equipment Finance Conference for over 20 years. The conference is truly one of the most useful and informative events that I attend. The broad equipment type, demand and underlying market presentations provide information that would take me months and dozens of interviews to collect. With most of the participants in the rail equipment industry at the conference, the informal dialogue is equally as useful. Year after year it is one of the best organized and balanced programs.

I have attended Railroad Financial Corporation’s annual Rail Equipment Finance conference for several years. It is a unique conference, in a very enjoyable setting, in that, in addition to the valuable networking opportunities, the program offers real meat. RFC is able to attract first rate speakers who have in depth knowledge of the railroad and rail finance industries. The conference is ideal for new comers wanting to learn more about these industries, as well as veterans who want to keep current. I highly recommend the Rail Equipment Finance conference to both audiences.

Tony Kruglinski’s conference is indispensable to anyone seriously interested in rail equipment finance. The presentations are comprehensive and highly relevant to the real-world problems facing equipment lessors, lessees and lenders. The 2008 presentation on recent changes to EPA requirements for locomotives was worth the trip alone. There is no comparable opportunity to share views and to interact with the major players in this industry. After many years of hosting this event, Tony and his staff have the formula down to perfection and they run the conference with precision and attention to the details that make it a success year after year.

I have been a regular attendee, and often a speaker, at the REF conference from the very beginning. I find that it is great opportunity to catch up with friends and acquaintances and meet new people to the industry. Importantly, I also refresh my understanding of the status of both the rail and finance industries with people who know what is happening from all walks of life. The information that is shared is complete and accurate and the conference is a must for anybody who is not in the trenches on a day to day basis.
I have found the conference to be an important part of my calendar and have never been disappointed

I view the Railroad Financial Conference as THE conference to attend to get the full view of the railroad rolling stock and locomotive markets. This conference has everything and the presentations are geared to the experienced and novice investor, and all points in between. The speakers and subject material are professional, excellent and extremely topical. The networking opportunities are a must and alone are worth the price. As a 20+ year attendee I can not think of any similar event that provides even 50% of the value provided. I can’t think of any serious rail equipment investor that does not attend.

I look for several things in an industry conference I might attend, the most important of which are information, networking opportunities, and the possibility of landing new business. The Rail Equipment Finance Conference provides all of these, and that’s what keeps me coming back year after year.
The topical content, the professional way it is presented and the reputation it has earned over the past 22 years has made the annual REF conference a gathering place for manufacturers, equipment owners, lessees and vendors alike.
When I’m asked what meetings someone in our industry should attend, I tell them that, if they can only attend one, make sure it’s the REF by Railroad Financial Corporation. I feel that it literally pays for itself in knowledge, contacts and new business.

I have attended the REF regularly since 1989. I always find it to be the most informative, meaningful event in the Rail Equipment Industry, as well as a tremendous networking opportunity.

I have attended a number of REF conferences over the years since its inception about 20 years ago. It is through this conference that I have built an extensive industry network and gained invaluable information on equipment leasing trends and other dynamics in the rail marketplace. There really is no better venue available in the rail industry than REF. It is a great collection of rail industry expertise for rail cars and locomotive all under one roof for three days.

As a bank lessor, RFC’s Rail Equipment Finance conference provides me a thorough annual update on the issues relevant to making investments in rail rolling stock. The agenda stays fresh every year, as the regular fleet updates and car type reviews are mixed with topical issues — this year’s ethanol panel was particularly insightful. I also appreciate the opportunity to network with my industry colleagues and customers in such a pleasant environment. I already have the dates blocked for 2009!

I’ve been coming to the conference for years now. I even came when it was held in Chicago, in the winter; I like the new venue much, much better. The Rail Equipment Finance conference is by far the most useful and meatiest conference I attend - it is packed with information from speakers who know the industry and their subject well. Good contacts, too. I put next year’s dates in my calendar to make sure I don’t schedule something else on top of it. I look forward to seeing you there next year.

I've attended the REF Conference for several years now. Each year, the agenda hits on the issues-of-the-day facing the rail industry. As a supplier to railroads, shippers and lessors, I always enjoy hearing the views and forecasts from each of these groups. I also look forward to the numerous networking opportunities at the conference. It is a great way to catch up with industry friends and acquaintances.

For twenty years, this conference has consistently been the best networking event for finance professionals in the railroad industry. The content is current and relevant to anyone investing in rail equipment. This is a must attend event for investors, lenders and railroad professionals
